Yeah, saw Moodymann (can you link me up to his tune "technologystolemyvinyl" i need to hear it again to put a sound to it) & Ron Trent (my 2 highlights of the weekend), I G Culture, Marc Mac (4Hero), Scott Bradford, Bobby & Steve, Benji B & Ben Westbeech (live) - all for the first time. My memories of a lot of these are fairly blurred, especially Benji B & Ben Westbeech...who i was really looking forward to hearing. Danny Krivit played in the disco backroom, so he was playing a different type of set to what i've heard from him in the past.

Didn't really want to bore people with lists of DJs they've never heard of/not interested in....as i definately did that in the lead up to the event!

for me, it was worth £120 just to hear spen play "if its love that you feel" - have waited 4 years to hear that tune again, and it was just absolutely flipping superb - the biggest high I've ever had on a dance floor. but i guess i'm just into handbag, sometimes.
IMO Sir Norman Jay also played a brilliant set, louie was a bit plinky plonky and the little bit i heard of krikits disco was ace.
Angie Stone was just amazing - well worth sticking around for on the Saturday afternoon.
Can't remember the others, probably too busy looking for MIA Jamie.
Oh, and in case you wondered, Scott said about 4 words from Friday night til 2am Sunday morning. Overcome by excitement maybe.
And Staxer Steve'd like never before - including giving us directions on how to drive out of Southport, from the comfort of the sofa/car.

No sheet for the moody one.
Scott Bradford may well have warmed up for Sasha @ Shindig in Dec, but i don't remember. Bobby & Steve, don't recall seing them in Leeds, but they've probably been on @ Ministry when i went down to see MAW..
