Artist: Monomachine
Track 1: Flor De Loto
Track 2: Flor De Loto (Inxec Remix)
Track 3: Traveller
Track 4: A Long Day
Label: Immigrant Digital 001
For the first of release of our new digital-only label named aptly…’Immigrant Digital’, we’re proud to present Monomachine’s “Flor De Loto EP”. Monomachine are Francisco Allendes, Chilean musician and DJ now based in Zaragoza and Inigo Oruezabal, Spanish producer, who you may know from his 2nd Room Records releases. They deliver a varied EP which oozes class from deep house to jacking techno they swagger with Latino sunshine. The remix comes from Contexterrior’s man of the moment and Jay Haze’s tip for the future, Inxec.
1. Flor De Loto jacks and bumps along as it twists up to that infectious melody. Think of Chicago meets Berlin somewhere between peak time and the after party and you’ll still be nowhere near! 2. Flor De Loto (Inxec Remix), Inxec strips the original right back. The bubbling bassline grows into the drop where the synth grows and growls, teasing, before pulling back into the groove with a snapping of snare and the hooky original melody. 3. Traveller, the Force Inc-esque bells hypnotise you throughout this track, taking you through to the long break down where the acid line twists and turns before all hell breaks loose. 4. A Long Day, a beautiful house track, the deep luring male vocal, lush, addictive pads and great drum programming. Think Steve Bug pre 2003, one for the summer!
