sorry but its true! after what he put me through last summer at pacha for subliminal i can never forgive him! he played one of the worst sets ive ever heard, was my first time at pacha aswell and he spoiled it for me!!! everytime i've seen he's rocked, but the last apperance at Rehab probably wasn't the best

errrr sweeping statement orrrrr? I can see where Mozzi is coming from as I've seen/heard him play some rubbish out (in a similar vein to David Morales) but to be fair he was good when I saw him at Pacha last summer (Cassius did blow him out of the water though) It does beg the question... Has Morrilo become the current day Jezza Healy?

To be fair you've all probably seen him on numerous occasions therefore he is gonna of had an off set, compared to someone you may have see once or twice (or heard a CD of) and think is the Dogs Bollo*ks.
I think it depends on where you are, he loves playing Sankeys and always rocks it. Regardless of what you think of Eric you can't just write off the older breed, what about Sanchez, Rampling, Tong.... absolute quality.
and Eric if you're reading..... shinny disco balls, insatiable & U2 on the Space terrace did it for me babe.

I've had some of my bst nights out listening to him. Then again the very next time i saw him (6-12 months later) he played an identical set - which i felt cheated everyone who'd hyped the night and spent more than average money to attend.

That was my point about the comparisons with Healy. The best example being the excesive use of Michael Jackson samples and the lack of track rotation.

Re. Morillo @ B2B last year Seem to remember the cheekies being particularly naff that night - would be interesting to see how people reacted to him if they had been good? But that is a whole new can of worms....

nothing wrong with using Michael Jackson stuff ;D I agree but using MJ as the a core part of your set for 4/5 years take the piss, especially when he always used the same records to mix in and out with.

CHANGE OF MIND.....
As someone who can spot a commercial dance classic a 100 feet off in a club (ie If am in a club and really like a track you can guarantee that it will be no.1 in the charts in 8 months, therefore loosing all creditibility amongst both my clubbing and very dubious non-clubbing mates) I think Morillo must be w*nk. I mean I really like him, but then I really liked Healy, back in the day too, so I would guess that means Morillo is pants, and any day about to be knocked off his throne. Soz to his fans.
