Now then peeps, well looking forward to this. Only managed to get to FF when they had Kenny Hawkes on, the same night as Jeff Mills didn't turn up for Superconductor. The residents sounded quality but wil be nice to see them in a smaller venue than Northern Light!!

This month sees us going head to head with Freelance Funk. Mark Gourlay and Jake McDonagh have been rocking dance floors up and down the country over the past few years with their special blend of funk! With their latest residency being at The Northern Light in Leeds these guys have a solid base to build from and the future's looking funky! Never being stuck to one style or trend, as one look at their competition wins will tell you, these guys are in their own words "Versatile and Adventurous!"

Previously winning DJ / Mix Tape Competitions on Ralph Lawson's Galaxy Radio Show (house mix), Muzik Magazine (Nu-Jazz Mix)and International IDJ Mag (Funk & Disco Mix) - these guys have certainly got the skills!!

Our residents Alex Mundy and Scott Broadhead will be giving as good as they get and showing the Freelance Funksters how we do it Sunday Roast style!!
