Good stuff Sam, hopefully we will be really busy for this one what with a certain DLC playin last time and other shennanigans the numbers were a little low (still around 400tho!) Lots of people are up for this one anyway, we had them booked for oslo last year but that place got bought by gatecrasher or someone similar. Anyway - see you there!

Sometimes the Mint club is better for not been rammed - and Sunday's feel more chilled, so I really enjoyed been able to move around freely, get a seat and no queue for the toilet last sunday (still thought there was a good atmosphere too).. but then maybe that's my age..

Check their new mix out on www.undergroundhouse.netIts ace!!! ;D A little bit about the Lawnchairs.... Despite the Lawnchair Generals mind-bending success as producers, they are quick to admit that they are DJs above all else. In addition to their gigs in Seattle and beyond, they had, until recently, each hosted regular radio shows on the acclaimed Groovetech. In 2003 LCG embarked on a US road tour with The East Coast Boogiemen, possibly the first of its kind. The four DJ’s played on 4 decks across the US and by driving the 8000 miles brought their unique style and taste to many cities that may otherwise have missed out on the party. Carlos and Peter agree that the relationship between their production and DJ’ing is symbiotic. “We are uninspired to produce music if we’re not playing records,” they agree. “We like making tracks that we would enjoy playing. We try our best to make palatable records and still push the envelope a bit.” The common theme running throughout their releases and DJ sets is a straight up kind of funk. This is true dance floor candy wrapped in the neat package of quality house music, much of which has been lost along the genre’s journey to popularity. Even the dubbed down, sexier tracks possess an uncanny energy and groove – an original, dance-able sensation of sonic pleasure. May1st is not to be missed guys
