New York born, but raised in Detroit, Kevin Saunderson's musical direction takes in two equally different areas. Famed for his seminal house tracks 'Good Life' and 'Big Fun', he is equally well known for creating techno music with classmates Juan Atkins and Derrick May. The
diversity, and genre swapping, has never been an issue Kevin’s inspiration comes from whatever moves him. "Sometimes its techno with a bassline
from some disturbed parallel universe, and sometimes it's joyous gospel house."
With twelve top fourty hits, two top twenty albums and combined sales of six million records, Kevin has continued to cross the border
between mainstream and underground music. His devotion to Techno and his home city of Detroit have lead to him heading up the annual Detroit Techno festival, and he was recently awarded the International Achievement Award from the Governor of Michigan alongside Derrick May.
Warming up with an extended set are the Stylus residents 'Les Croasdaile' & 'Scott Carey'.
There’ll be a mix of 'Deep Beats, House Grooves, Soulful Rhythms, Jazzy Vibes, Electronic Melodies & a whole lot more!' in 'The Shack' supported by Lee Gosnay who presents 'Persona'. 'Persona' will include extra sound rig, decor and having the whole night to himself to build it to a frenzy.
The buzz for this night is on parallel to the 'Yellow Reunion', I cannot stress how excited people are about this event so please be sure to snap up some advanced tickets at:
