Jay has been producing for a year and a half now and already is
representing two great labels in the Breaks scene. Already a highly
competent drummer and having just finished a degree in Jazz, Jay has
big plans for his future in the breaks scene and certainly the
‘Live’ approach later on.
His first single on Re:connect ‘GladeBelter/It’sGroovey’ has already
made an impact on the scene with great reviews from some top name
DJ’s including the Plump DJ’s and Drummattic Twins. Jay also has two
tunes on the Jay Cunning and Atomic Hooligan mix ‘Beats n Bobs Vol
5.’ One of which is his first Menu release after Christmas.
Preceding that the Plump DJ’s have just licensed ‘It’s Groovey’ for
the December mix in MixMag.
Watch out for this driving new producer in Leeds.
