Saturday 9th September
10:30PM – 5AM
The weekly Saturday club night ELECTROCUTE is all about the party! It’s shockingly new! For the people with a free mind and a free spirit who are open to anything. Electrocuting you with funky electro, dirty house, disco & electro pop. Come to the Warehouse this Saturday to be electrocuted!
ELECTROCUTE brings Europe’s and the UK’s happening DJ’s at the moment from massive club nights in Ibiza to quirky European city clubs such as the Culture club in Brussels. In conjunction with our residents our music will be everything from the latest, freshest sound to the ultimate classic. Bringing people together for an uplifting party night and continuing the legend that is the Warehouse of Leeds.
Chris Coco was one of the first DJs to play Acid House in the UK. He started the now legendary Coco Club at the Zap in Brighton where DJs like Carl Cox would go and listen to his mixing. Mr.Coco is currently DJing on world tour with Robbie Williams as part of his band. Chris has also DJ'd for The Red Hot Chilli Peppers (Hyde Park, London) and Faithless (Alexandra Palace, London). Chris makes fine house music as well as more chilled beats. The Beach‚ (R&S Records) by Chris and StoneBridge was a Buzz and Cool Cuts No.1 and one of the biggest records of that year.
There is now a live side to Chris‚ latest album Heavy Mellow‚ A decks and laptop set with visuals. Chris performed this at The Big Chill and Bestival this year. Chris's Blue Room show, with RobDaBank, is one of the most listened to Radio 1 shows over the Internet. He mixed and compiled Chillin At The Playboy Mansion‚ for US release in 2003. Chris also DJ’d for global megastar Robbie Williams and preformed in his band at the MTV Europe awards (to an audience of about a billion people). 2006 is shaping up nicely for Mr. Chris Coco with more work with Robbie Williams, another Blue Room compilation, and a new artist album in the pipeline.
