WILL + WARREN & Tony Barry
Will Power & Warren Sauvage have been DJn together for almost 8 years now . Having started out with local promoters Play, in Club LA and the Forum, where they started the show for some of the biggest DJs in the world from Derrick Carter to Stacey Pullen to Mr. C to Timo Maas and more before moving to South where they took up residency in The Playpen. It was in South/Playpen were they made a name for themsleves as always producing quality sets, whether it be thier own Playpen show, or supporting the likes of Elliott Eastwick, Mazi, Harri et al or where they were as equally impressive supporting DJs form Jon Carter to Steve Lawler in the South main room. It was during their time in South that that were featured in Irish Dance mag BPM and also started to play out of Waterford with slots in Cork & Dublin. In 2002 they decided to return to the Forum where they enjoyed gigs with PLAY in the past, only this time it was to become residents at Musiklab, alongside Paul Bryan and Keith Hogan, they immediately made an impact at Musiklab, having built a huge following over the years supporting the likes of Derrick Carter, Felix da Housecat and almost any quality house dj you can name. In December of 2002 Will & Warren mixed the second ‘Sound Of Musik’ album which went onto receive huge critical acclaim with clubbers snapping up all 2,000 copies of its first run. In early 2005 they were approached to help run a new weekly night called Groove in Axis Mundi (now Bowery). In 2006 they represented Waterford in the Paddy's Day Party in Limerick for Vinyl where they played alongside Greg & Shane(Fish Go Deep) & Michael Black (Dublin). Over the years they have been responsible for some memorable gigs in Waterford and this one will be one not to be missed, they have promised to dust of some old PlayPen classics and mix them up with some new upfont house of 2006....Joining the lads on support duties on the night is TONY BARRY, who is no stranger to the local house scene through the years having played at Metroland and the Roxy during the crazy Cant Stop days. Tony recently stole the show at the LOFT # 6 with a vintage display and other than house parties, you wont catch Tony set's that much anymore so this is an oppurtunity to re-live the good auld times for one night only in more ways than one.......
