New Years Eve, a night that either strikes fear into the weak or delight into the party animal drink-and-rave-all-night type of person. So it’s the second type we are aiming for with our two floored NYE bash!
We have been after an excuse to get ze Frenchman back to Stylus so when we we’re offered the 31st December slot at the Attic we jumped at the chance, Phil said yes so it was all systems go. Two rooms of music seems like a good option to welcome in 2007 so we will be taking over the Thirsty Scholar downstairs with the music leaning to the more eclectic side of things and upstairs catering for the straight up 4 to the floor house sound. Leading the good ship Stylus in the cosy setting of downstairs will be Bugged Out resident Rob ‘Da Guvnor’ Bright, who will be joined by the Mancusonights DJs (Steve ‘Bling’ Holland and Jimmi M), Homegrown’s Adam B and musical maestro Mr B. Upstairs Phil will be welcoming in the new year and he will be joined by Stylus residents Les Croasdaile, Scott Carey & Tom Golden.
Tickets for the event are on sale now via www.ticketweb.co.uk and are available at the excellent price of £12 up until mid December.

Phil Weeks
In 2000, Phil Weeks founded the successful Robsoul Recordings label. Since the first release, Robsoul's reputation has steadily increased within the world of house music. Robsoul releases all present the deeper and hypnotic edge of the 'tech-house' genre, providing discerning ears with forward thinking underground hits from artists such as Derrick L. Carter, David Duriez and DJ Rasoul and of course Phil himself. The Robsoul Revision label, started more recently by Phil, sees tracks from the Robsoul label reworked by major players on the scene. Phil also co-runs the Stay True imprint with David Duriez and still finds time to fit in production work with San Francisco 's Hector Moralez under their “Fries & Bridges guise.
As well as his own labels, Phil Weeks productions and remixes have appeared on the most respected labels the world over including Music For Freaks, Detour and Brique Rouge and are played by premier league DJs down to bedroom jocks. In 2003 he released his debut album “Yeah I Like That” through his own Robsoul imprint. Since the beginning of his career Phil has developed his own house music identity and sound signature. This is most perfectly displayed in tracks like “Hypnose” and “It Put Me Well” which feature his voice with a stoned French accent; often imitated but never duplicated. You'll often hear house heads saying “yeaaaah I like thaaaat” - and you've got Phil to thank.
