TECHNIQUE & ASYLUM
The Warehouse - Leeds
Well it seems like things are going from good to better…Clive absolutely had the main room jumping at the last event and the Leftrrom guys didn’t doo too badly upstairs either I think all will agree!
But no time to snooze…this time we bring you a home grown special. It’s all Berlin this and Detroit that, what about the homeboys? Some of the UKs hottest talent hits town for this one, LUKE SOLOMON continues to forge forward with his awesome band The Freaks, responsible for some of the best house music quirkiness of the past 10 years. However, not content with that he has a slew of solo remixes and some killer releases dropping for such labels as Rekids, Crosstown Rebels and Green Velvet's Cajual. WILL SAUL has been steadily rising for the last 3 years as a name to watch, his Simple imprint responsible for some of the hottest club tracks around releasing names such as names such as John Dahlback, Mathew Jonson, Isolee, Jesse Rose, Phonique and John Tejada, it's not hard to see why. JAMIE JONES has been making a bit of a name for himself as a DJ over the past couple of years. His DJsCanDance parties becoming a bit haunt for Londoners in the know. 2006 saw Jamie make his way into the production world too, releasing the Amazon Ep on Dan Ghenacia's Freak 'n Chic label which was picked up by Steve Bug and Tiefschwarz for their compilationS. With some huge tracks ready to drop for Crosstown Ltd and the follow up for Freak 'n Chic, things are looking good for Jamie.
