OK!! I KNOW IT'S CRAP BUT..I was bored at work..so decided to cast my vote in the hope that Tiesto's ugly mug wont be on the front cover again... I think my voting was pretty fair and truthful... I voted for(in no paticular order) 1.Paul Woolford  2.Nic Fanculli  3.Layo n Bushwacka!  4.Ralph Lawson  5.Justin Long......  I liked em in 2004...and thats why I voted...I did vote last year too, im not ashamed to say...

So just had a quick look at last years and realised that this poll is about as reliable as a mouse security guard at a cheese factory. Tom Middleton, all round legend DJ doesnt even make the top 101 ohh know he's number 129. Shame on the poll shame on the poll  Also Nick Fanciulli comes in at 212! I dont think many peeps knew who Nic Fanculli was this time last year..whether they associate Skylark with him or not...
Yes its cheese..and no doubt JJ,PT,Tiesto will all be top ten yet again..I just thought maybe my one(well 2) votes mayber would push our faves closer up the top..not that they are bothered or me..I was bored at work and it was either that or doing some reports...
Im sure Wooly would be enternally grateful for me getting him on the front cover of Mixmag..
Another one i did vote in a long time ago was the housemusic awards..admittedly it is most what Id class as 'funky' but still cast my vote...
I like polls...I voted for ward10 in the Sunderland Music awards..and you know what? They scored a hat-trick! ;D

How does ATB come (considerably) above Danny Tenaglia and Roger Sanchez? I know it is a 'popularity' poll but that is the most ridiculous thing I have seen since Sam indulged in the 'horse' back at Scotts house.  |

I think it's a case of enjoying laughing at the uneducated masses, who probably haven't heard a DJ outside of Radio 1 or their local yates/hogshead, just voting for the person they've heard of so that they can sound knowledgeable in front of their mates ..... "Yeah you should vote for Tiesto he's a great DJ don't you remember The Anthem?" Remember there's no accounting for taste. |
