MUSIC POLICY The evening will provide a staple diet of disjointed jazz licks, stoned soul grooves, future broken beats, block party jams and disco nuggets.
Sick Trumpet, launch with Blackbeard. This London maestro is surrounded in mystery as he has been blitzing his trademark re-works across the UK, Europe and USA via those record shops that know!!! He has laid his hands on “Common” and his “Come Close To Me” track which Gilles Peterson rinsed out on his Radio 1 show and at his gigs across the UK. Blackbeard has also given “Beyonce” the lick, and taken “Nas” and given him soul rubdown on “Heaven”, a cut taken from the “God Suns” album. His talents have even attracted requests from Sunday Bests’, Don, Rob Da Bank to add his deft touch to Max Sedgleys’ “Happy”, forthcoming this summer.
