Made my Hed Kandi debut last night at the empire in Middlesbrough.
£12 entry and the place was full to the rafters (1,200-1,500). Mixture of p1ssed townies & totally wasted students.
The DJs....Paul Taylor playing classics in the back room and HK ressies in the main room playing 3 year old 'funky house'.....not exactly groundbreaking stuff.
Got pretty drunk then went on the inevitable speculative wander round the seedier parts of the club....
