the lineup so far includes: Louie Vega Dimitri From Paris DJ Spen (Basement Boys) Ron Trent Terry Hunter Osunlade DJ Deep Joey Negro King Britt Bugz In The Attic Quentin Harris Giles Peterson Bobby & Steve Phil Asher Norman Jay Steve Butler and loads more, with P.A.'s / other guests still to be announced. Thanks to Midget for my christmas present of ticket for this....the lineup is far better than the one from last year that i went to.... Very happy. edit: Ron Trent & DJ Spen added to lineup

Terri Walker Don Blackman Teedra Moses Reel People Maxine Braham Carmen Reece
Barbara Tucker and Blaze performing together at the Sunday afternoon Finale
DJ Spen will be bringing the following performers with him: The Muthafunkaz, featuring Biblical Jones & Vonita White from Jasper Street Company and Gary Hudgins formerly of Funkadelica.
Louie Vega back at Southport for the first time in a while and really looking forward to it, is bringing in some performers of his own : Vega Records recording artists ; Anane & Mr V, plus Elements Of Life percussionists Lusito Quintero & Kevin Jones.

the weekender as a whole...i don't expect you to agree, on face value its terrible standard of accom and gay fluffy music....the reality is, once you're there the buzz about the place, the friendliness of the people, the variety of music on offer and the general crack of pontins makes up for the fact that the chalets are 70's stylie....

It was absolutely superb, and to be honest, I really didn't think it was going to be my thing.
Some of the best music I've hear in a long time - Dimitri and Negro were amazing, and Barbara Tucker was just the hi-light of the weekend.
Pontins wasn't even that bad - in a Peter Kay's Dad Style, it even had an ashtray in the bathroom..
