First of all a big thanks to all who came down to the Bank Holiday Special. Too many peeps to mention but you know who you are!!!! Everyone involved had a great night and all the Dj's did a fine job of kicking the sh*t out of the system!! If this months is half as good we're in for another belter!


This month we have special guest GREG VICKERS. Resident at Tribal Sessions @ Sankeys Soap until very recently, Greg has helped build the solid reputation the night now has.

Greg has been getting props from such DJ's as Layo & Bushwacka!, Lee Burridge, Nic Fanciulli, Francois Kevorkian, all who have been impressed with his versatile and skilled approach to what he does on the decks.

2004 saw Greg and fellow Sankey's resident Krysko mix the Sankey's Soap 10th Anniversary CD which came out on Underwater. The mix got many high props from various people in the industry, and gained mix of the month in DJ mag with a 10 out of 10 mark!

Production wise, Greg remixed Nic Fanciullis “Buik Project – Drop the beat” for Saved records, the mix was licensed to Nic's DMC live series CD. Greg has also just finished off a remix for Toolroom records which will be out early 2005.

Already things are looking good for 2005 with a month tour of Latin America to kick start the year, a weekly residency in Ibiza already secured for the summer, remixes lined up for completion for the early part of the year and a return to the clubs he has rocked in 2004 and new clubs to show of his skills!

This is a rare chance to see Greg play in a small venue and we are expecting anoher road block. Make sure you get down early!

Now then Scott,

yes, Greg was on fine form.

Had a bit of a crowd but not too busy, everyone was up for it tho

He did the whole set on his laptop. Can't remember what he used but it was quite impressive and kept him busy, not like Ableton where it's a producers tool, this was more like decks on a laptop!

He enjoyed it too and was trying to get me to book him again!


All in all a good night.
