SUGi will take place every Sunday throughout the summer @ Velvet Underground. Our DJ’s playing minimal house progressing to filthy tek in the outdoor courtyard with a free sizzling BBQ and serving cheap refreshing cocktails throughout the day. SUGi will provide you with that unique summer feeling as you reminisce about your weekend and dance until the sun sets.

BIGGER THAN JESUS aka Nick Adams and Pete Robinson are two of the most exciting DJs and Producers to come out of Newcastle upon Tyne in recent years. They’ve been rocking clubs throughout the UK with their Punk attitude and nuclear fuelled minimal techno and house They have also had records signed to massive Danish Techno label Tic Tac Toe as well as other UK based labels such as Climax, Fragile and Strawberry Blonde.
CHRIS HALLIDAY the DJ competition finalist and resident from Leeds club night Audio Intercourse.
FISHA a DJ resident from the legendary FaTdOg parties.
SUGi will also like to introduce different guests to play every Sunday. Bring your records down and join the free party. You can play alongside our residents during the Sunday afternoon. Guest DJ’s will play half hour slots depending how many other guests want to have a mix. Come down to SUGi this Sunday for more info.
