hello mate you can get free recording software from here that should do the job - audacity.sourceforge.net/as for the cables, i guess you won't have a good soundcard in your laptop, so will need to record in via your headphones socket so you'll need a double phono to jack cable phonos come out of your mixer L and R outputs and jack goes into your headphones socket probs get one for about a fiver you should then be able to record anything played through your mixer using that software

Shame I can't get some of them on CD's due to size.... just get a simple music editing package such as wavelab lite (think its on t'interweb) then you can split the mixes down to around 72 minutes and put them on multiple cd's

Shame I can't get some of them on CD's due to size.... Ive only been shown this in the last week and it is class. Loads of mixes. Those Zabiela ones are convenient sized for CD. My top download of the week is the Daft Punk Essential Mix from 1997 Also had the same issues with not being able to burn long mxies, but will give Petes thing a go...

Ta hhmm, well this adapter should do the same job - just put your x2 phonos that come out of your mixer into this adapter, then put that adapter in your laptop mic or line in socket www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=128_120&products_id=318as for the software, just make sure that in your Laptop volume settings it is recording from the right place (ie. mic or line in) just let me know if this still doesn't work mate
