How's the new job working out mate!?

Very well thanks - I'm actually quite enjoying it as I work in industries I'm interested in
(Technology, Media and Telecoms)

I'm currently dealing with Sales Director-level vacancies and candidates at places like TomTom and O2 - which means 100k+ salaries (and thus big bonuses for me), but a slow turn-around in decision making and so the need for patience

And this week they said that they're looking to open offices in Australia at the end of this year.......

Is the new job (hours?) the reason you don't play footy on a Monday anymore?

Played indoors last night, which was a treat!

Nope, I work 8.15am to around 6pm
(and I live only about 15mins from the office)

The reason I've not been playing football is because I went over on my ankle during a league game 3 weeks ago, and have only now been able to walk properly again let alone play football

I'm hoping to play this thursday for the 1st time since then and if that goes OK I'll be back next monday

Nope, I think I only made about a dozen calls today

Amusingly I've also just started dealing with a Digital Media role at the Ministry of Sound

Unfortunately just telling a company "Yeah he can probably do the job, when do you want him to start?" rarely works
