isnt it great when you can dance all night because of the quality of hte music, not becuase of the drugs making you think that repeative beat is a good idea? never a truer word has been said on the subject of music/drugs.

inspirational Midget. The proverbial nail has been well & truely hit. This scenario is why dance music gets a bad name....
Classic example, to quote Tenerife Andy a few months/posts ago....
"For all it matters to me it may as well be daffy duck in the DJ box when I'm fcuked...."
words to that effect anyway..........

do you never have good nights out anymore? Me or UK241? If its me, yes - I still think RN2, and all it stands for, makes a great night, and am not just saying that to get a new pair of shoes.. I just find it hard that RN2 seems to be going against the grain - you know, making sure that there's a party going on rather than been pretenious.. Anyway, am sure tonight will be a belter (oh please, oh please) so I'll let you know in the morning whether I still have good nights out!

Basics already does this, lets not head down their road. Ta xxxx We are doing our own thing. If we didn't genuinely believe in what we were doing RN2 would have died months ago I assure you. And besides, given than Basics is one of the most respected and influencial house nights in the world, what would be wrong with following in their footsteps?

And besides, given than Basics is one of the most respected and influencial house nights in the world, what would be wrong with following in their footsteps? Yes, they do it big, and they do it better, and they do it famously.. Why would you want to be famous for attempting to do the same thing in the same city, and failing because lets face it Basics don't get the no.'s through the doors they used to, so why should RN2 pick up the scraps? Instead RN2 is known for a having a banging, unpretentious atmosphere, and can be relied upon for bring new talent and a great party to those who love house. Wouldn't this be a better "mission statement" than, "we want to be basics"? S'up to you like, its your night. I just pay me 4 quid and get what i'm given..

Think this is being taken a bit too seriously by a few folk. Have the night, enjoy it, arrange the next one. Beginning to sound a bit pretentious now.
