RN2 is known for a having a banging, unpretentious atmosphere, and can be relied upon for bring new talent and a great party to those who love house. Wouldn't this be a better "mission statement" than, "we want to be basics"? S'up to you like, its your night. I just pay me 4 quid and get what i'm given.. exactly what is giving you the impression that we want to be another Basics? we are in not moulding ourselves on Basics anymore than we are on Chibuku, Circus, Tribal or any other night that runs a similar underground vibe to ourselves i also have to say that when we started this night i distinctly remember having to defend our belief that we didn't just want to put on big names every month, and we wanted to be known as being a great night out 1st, and then who the DJ was to be the 2nd factor of the night in your above post you initially say that we have done this.... but then suddenly change your mind and claim we are just a bunch of wannabes, copying another club i'm sorry but i simply can't see where this comment is coming from at all i'm sorry you dislike RN2 so much, and that you feel obliged to turn up, rather than actually wanting to (you don't pay to get in though, do you?) and all i can say is i am thankful that the majority seem to love what we are trying to do, and create the great atmosphere that we get every month |

Think this is being taken a bit too seriously by a few folk. Have the night, enjoy it, arrange the next one. Beginning to sound a bit pretentious now. i hope that isn't directed at anyone involved with RN2, because given the amount of free time given up every week and money that we have all invested in this night, that is a very unfair thing to say |

Stop it the night's top! Almost everyone who's attended one has/will attend another* because it's such a good night. *Well except my ex I doubt she'll be attending again!  |

RN2 is the most exciting thing to happen in a long time!! I mean look how passionate people are getting on the board (granted this is to avoid working). All I think is that comments like we’re trying our best & we can’t please everyone when it’s clear as day the night’s it’s a success are a little cheesy if they’re not said tongue in cheek, if the are……….. forgive / ignore me cos it would then be quite amusing. I'd just like to say that if we're trying to be like anyone, its ourselves...when we stop being ourselves and people don't recognise us thats when we're in trouble.
Lets just have a laugh and enjoy it while it lasts, cos invariably nights like ours don't last 13 years..... like Basics will have done in November.
Keep on keeping on.
